Omatake, we brought a Playstation 3 from NZ and used a trafo (analog convertion) to feed 220V from a 110V outlet. and the game's power supply burnt. Note that NZ not only uses 230-240V but 50Hz instead 60Hz, so your dual voltage should be also dual frequency.I had several TVs powered by mod sine, and never had a single problem before. I suspect some cheap unities are more sensitive than others. Btw, you're luck as I'm not the tv dealer you bought it
