I guess the advantage of waiting for insurance settlements after a hurricane is that I have more time to confuse myself about what ''new to me'' boat i want and I also have the priviledge of continueing to make insurance payments for a boat that will be eventually totalled out.
Anyway, I thought i about had it narrowed down to Hunter 37 Cutter or an Allied 36 Ketch. Now enter the Yawl as another possible prospect. I know nothing about yawls except that they are more or less a sloop with a tail feather, with some of the features of both sloops and Ketch''s.
Does anyone here have any working knowledge of the pros and cons of a yawl?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
