Here's a couple solutions.
1. Buy a generator and plug into it instead of the dock.
2. Buy an inverter and plug the boat into IT (if you plug in your battery charger you can recharge the batteries too)
3. Get a really long power cord
4. Don't unplug. Who want's to leave the dock anyway. It's dangerous out there.
