We were out in it all day long running north for the winter. Seven hours from Baltimore up to Summit North on the canal. We saw consistent SW winds in the high teens to plus twenty all day. Popped out the genny and motor sailed the entire way. Other than the rainbows it was another wet nasty day on the bay. At least the chop layed down north of Pooles Is.
Woke up to rain in a warm cozy bunk at 6:00. The desire to catch the tide up Delaware River won out over a few more minute of sleep. It paid off with another shorter than expected run. Averaged 9.5 kts SOG for 6 hrs. Now to get her decommisioned
