We have a Weems and Plath set which we purchased four years ago. It is a non quartz, winding ships bell clock. We had originally purchased the quartz version but the striking bell on it sounded a little whimpy and went through batteries rapidly. We are old school and perfer the real deal, not as accurate but more pleasing to us.
In the forward cabin we do have a small Chelsea with what appears to be a bronze case. It is a wind up also with out striking bell, a very nice piece. We had it appraised, and were surprised at the value. It was made in '46, and came with the boat.
Chelsea would be my choice if I could spring for it, but the W & P is really nice and keeps great time.
