Leaving the Boat in the Bahamas

I have kept my Pacific Seacraft 37 cutter for a year in Grenada, and another year in St. Lucia. I found good marinas in both places where I could get boat watching while I was in the states. I am thinking about doing this in the Bahamas next year. Is this possible? Is it a good place to sail? Will my boat be safe? Is the cost reasonable? Any and all comments are welcome. Note that I draw under 6 feet, and I understand that is the magic number for sailing there. Thanks!
