We're just using small boats, tech dinghies, basically a shell with a centerboard, rudder & a mainsail. We drop them in the water & pull them afterward. You can only get one or two people in them. There's some kids that sail in 420's & they sail one person per boat. Crew is not an issue with these things. If it's over 15 kts, we don't sail cuz these things are so tippy you can't really heel in them much. Usually they're best from 6 - 10 kts.
