And lets not forget either, when Palin resigned, there was a designated replacement who was in line with her policies, as opposed to the numerous elected officials who quit to be part of the Obama team, whose replacements were, for the most part, unelected, as opposed to Sean Parnell (Lt Gov) who at least was elected. Burris for Obama? I'm sure the people of Illinois were thrilled with that.
So who really abandoned the people that elected them?
