Uh, no...
At least not as of 2007, the latest year service manual that I could find;
Quote:
Fuel and Gasolin

Premium (super) gasoline is highly recommended for TOHATSU motors. Fuel should be a minimum pump posted Octane Rating of 87 (91 by Research Octane Rating).
Gasoline containing alcohole [sic], methanol (methyl), or ethanol (ethyl) may cause;
* Wear and damage on bearings, piston, piston rings, and cylinder liners.
* Corrosion on metal parts
*Deterioration on rubber parts and plastic parts

Note: Engine damage resulting from the use of fuel containing such alcohl(s) is not the responsibility of TOHATSU, and will not be covered under the limited warranty.

I had to re-type this, because I don't have Acrobat on this PC. I tried to capture all their mis-spellings (and there are quite a few!)

Tohatsu is not the only outboard maker with a propensity to damage from alcohol with their recent motors.
