Was there a joke somewhere back there, Sneadles? Your attempt at comedy must've been even more pathetic than usual because I didn't even notice.
So I think I've made public that I recently discovered gin. I bought a bottle of Hendrick's and I followed their G&T recipe (gin, tonic, cucumber slice) and I must say that it is an excellent, refreshing drink. Not too piney (compared to other gins I've had) and the cucumber adds a surprising freshness. And I must point out that I am usually the first to shun fruits or vegetables in my more serious drinks.
Tonight might be a scotch night, though. I need to make a dent in my Springbank so I have an excuse to go buy more.
