Apples and oranges, I know, but here in the Bay Area, vinyl paints have pretty much gone the way of the dinosaur. In saltwater environments they exhibit poor anti fouling properties and have a useful lifespan MUCH shorter than either traditional ablative or epoxy paints. In my experience, anyway. Maybe in fresh water you will see better results. I'd switch to something at the first opportunity, were it me however.
