I have been in & out of Ponce nearly a dozen times. Staying close to the breakwater is good advice. As you get to the end of the break water the channel turns south. You go past the C.G. station, and you are on the ICW.

To go north you can make an immediate right after the breakwater. This is with local knowledge, or following a large sport fishing boat in. The less chance of running aground is going past the C.G. station & taking notice of the ICW markers on the right.

Going south just head for the bridge in New Smyrna. It's visible once you are inside the breakwater........i2f

20 MPH ain't fast unless, you do it in a 1000sq 3/2 house on 10foot waves
