Not that the 'go small, go now" category works for everyone, but I still enjoy hearing reports of such voyages.

Basically, he's a young man with a small 21 foot Corribee pocket cruiser (The Unified Corribee Website
) who took off in 2008 down the Thames to visit a relative on the southern coast of England. He found the adventure so engaging that he decided to continue the trip around Britain itself. (Having just read two books on this type of goal, I can assure you it isn't easy. Ellen MacArthur did it in a Corribee in 1995.)
