This is similar to the symptomes I had after a lightening stroke when a burned out tri-data (Raymarine) sent 'virus' in the sea talk system.First try to isolate your instruments by disconnecting all NMEA cables. At the same time check that you have stabel current and ground to your instrument. Power up the instruments and measure the voltage at the instrument! Below 10.5 volts and you will have serious trouble.
