The original post is now NINE YEARS OLD.. and I don't believe the OP is looking for any crew, especially since their last post was in 2002.
Also, I would recommend being somewhat cautious when thinking of crewing for an unknown individual, especially one with very few posts on the forum. While many of the regular posters are fairly well known quantities, and are often personally known to others on the forum, a person that only has a few posts generally is not.
If you have not already found someone to sail with, I hope you would consider me! Brits have always had the best humor, and I love to sail, but know hardly a thing! I'm dying to learn and be out on the water. I feel at home. I do have excellent cooking skills that I am sure will bring great joy, and I would never hesitate to chop off a fish's head (even though I have respect for all living kind and I do give thanks). I am free to go anytime, anywhere.
Feel free to ask me any questions, and I hope to hear from you.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
