Any ideas on how to reinforce the transom? One of these mounts with the bracket that allows the mount to be easily taken off would work

Provided the transom can handle it. I dont love the idea of drilling holes in the transom but I suppose theres no other choice. Unless anyones come up with a way to strap a mount on somehow...
To initially get the boat out of its present location I could probably tie a board to the transom ladder to make a temporary mount to motor it out of the marina or maybe get a tow.
