My furling line recently parted to roller furling. I can''t find anyone who can splice yacht braid end to end. Short of dimantling roller furler and sending it off, do I have any options to get yacht braid back together end to end
This systems is a Hood Seafurl which incorporates a continuous loop of 3/8 yacht braid. It must be spliced to make the continous loop, unlike other systems that merely roll onto a bale.I have asked all over the Gulf Coast and have yet to find anyone that can splice the yacht braid end to end. Thanks for your response and any advice would be appreciated.
Same problem with my furler. If you are near Ft Meyers. I know that Tom Price does it. 941-543-5566. Almost any rigger can do it.
