Glen Cove to Shelter Island
Hey Folks-
Planning an early May trip from Glen Cove out to Shelter Island. The rub is, I've got 2 days to make the trip. Operating daylight hours only.

One option is to make the run from Glen Cove to Port Jeff/Sinai in one day and then head eastward from Port Jeff/Sinai, then around the point into SI the next day. Leg two of this option is sort of a long trip if I'm correct, but seems doable.

The other option is to head out of Glen Cove then hug the CT shoreline and where there are more options for the overnight and stop somewhere there along the way, then continue on to SI day 2.

Any advice on which of these two options makes the most sense? Any other suggestions?
