I'd highly recommend that you be a bit more flexible about sailing during daylight hours only. To make the tides at Plum Gut, you might need to leave before daybreak. You want to make sure you get to whereever you're stopping for the night before dusk. Dusk is the worst time to enter a harbor, especially a strange one.

I'd also recommend that you look over the charts and make a page for each harbor that you might have to bail out at that lists the navigation marks and compass courses you'll need to enter them safely. Trying to look this stuff up in an emergency is a bad idea.
