Crew looking for position out of Panama or nearby

Hi,
My name is Carlton and I am hoping to get some sailing experience during the next few months. I have been traveling through North and Central America for the past seven and a half months by bus, train and bicycle and I am available until the end of May. I have no previous experience (all I know is to watch out for the boom) but I am very eager to learn and I do not get sea sick.

I am willing to travel to other ports in or around Panama to meet the boat. I would be glad to get any experience from just going through the Panama Canal to a multi-month sea journey.

I am:

21 years old
live just outside of Washington DC
taking a year off from college where I spent three years on an Environmental Policy and Science degree
adventurous, easy going, hard working and a fast learner
beginner to intermediate Spanish
an Eagle Scout
Advanced Open water PADI certified
first aid training (but no current certifications)

If you are interested in taking me on as crew or have any advice on how I could get a crew position send me an email at cdk002 aT g mail dot com

Thanks.
