Good to see the Costies doing what they should be doing.
Doesn't matter Smack...lets say just for argument he was motoring in for one of those mooring buoys you see in the video...the wind came up and he got the prop fouled...There would not have been enough time that close to shore to get the sails up in 45 knot gusts with a full crew.
That would indeed have been a very good reason to be so close to that shore.
If those winds came up as quickly as someone said they did, and he did foul his prop, he would be in quite a situation indeed. Even if he had gotten the main up, or even more sail, could he have made way off that lee shore?
