if they used a stain at all it was likely your average stain, nothing special about it, most boats I've worked on have been just varnished or left bare inside. Not to be rude, but the purpose of a board is to have answers to questions posted on the board, it works very well that way because someone else may have the same question, people responding by email removes the benefit of having the answer given, not to mention that it's likely to increase your spam ratio because of posting your email. also if someone later on has the same question, you are likely to have emails asking you what you learned. ken.
