So, no matter the reason, I'm not exactly comfortable with them being able to remove my "book" from my "library" like that.

Imagine of Barnes and Noble could walk into your home and remove a book you purchased from them...

I may end up with an e-book but I'll do some more research first.

Until then, unless we are cruising away for years, our local library will serve us well for temporary book ownership.
