I got the parachute from a military disposal store in ANC. I pre-empted your next query and contacted the store - they have nil stock, but I am to call them on Monday (which I will).
If you like, PM me and I will pass all the contact details to you, as like you, I understand that there MAY be some USG restrictions on ex-military parachutes with shrouds intact.

As said in my previous post, the deployment ring was a "special project". I hope that the attached pix of it is successfully attached.
