I have also done a bit of sailing around the Western Isles of Scotland,this area is stunningly beautifull,no mass tourisim,lots of free and safe anchorages,plenty of ports and marinas.If you ever cruise the UK,visiting here is a must

Hi Matt, greetings from the Puget Sound. A little different from ferrying the Mersey..
A little jealous of you sailing the Northern Islands, something I need to do some day. Only in the height of summer though. Loved the photos as well.
I do most of my sailing up in the Northwest US now days. The Sound is a great place to sail, Like a big lake with tides! And deep. I'm getting ready to paint the boat...as soon as we get a nice long warm spell that is. Going to do the hull in a nice dark "Flag Blue." Of course it'll be named "Scouse" from a choice of that or Scally! with Liverpool as the hailing port.
