The halyards pretty much should exit out the slots that are lined up with the sheaves they come out of in the masthead truck. On many boats, there are four internal masthead sheaves, two forward, two aft... and they're generally used for topping lift and mainsail halyard for the two aft ones and spinnaker and jib halyards for the two forward ones.

However, I'm not entirely convinced that a couple of the halyards are exiting via the correct slots in the bottom of the mast. Does anyone know if there's a manual of some description that documents where these should go? I'm going back there with a camera tomorrow, FWIW.

Thanks,

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
