If you're planning on going with a Dr. LED bulb... DON'T. Not only are most of their bulbs not USCG certified in any fixture, but their quality control and warranty support are pretty suspect.

The Davis light would be o'k but since I race at night I might occasionally flip on the anchor light to grab a look at the windex- just don't tell anyone.

I am going to start posting entries in the racing forum entitled the "road to Mackinac" detailing the preparations for my first time entry to the BYC Mack race. You will also be able to view our progress real time during the race.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
