I'm reading "Saving Sailing" by Nicholas Hayes. Nick Hayes came to one of our local club meetings & gave a great talk & I bought his book. As many of us know, sailing has gone down in recent years, even before the economy tanked. Nick Hayes collected statistics, interviewed people & did a lot of other research to came up with an excellent book that made me want to get even more people out there on the water this spring. He's also got a website, that is worth checking out.

It's a thoughtful, well-written book & I'd highly recommend it to anyone who loves to go out on the water.

I want to be so famous that drag queens will dress up like me in parades after I'm dead.
