Has anyone here had any exp with new glass 2 fiberglass restorer, I seen it on another site, and its just wipe on and off couple of coats and it rejuvenates finish??, any personal experience...It sounds too easy. Anybody?
We've had good experience with a similar product (though better rated) called Poliglow - same basic procedure with pretty amazing results, esp initially.
However, a few seasons on we are using it only on the topsides, and using a conventional wax on deck, cockpit and cabintop. We found the Poliglow discoloured when exposed to traffic and sunscreened bodies, quickly becoming quite unsightly.
Their pre-treatment product, "Poliprep" is a great cleaning agent too. You can buy a starter kit, with the prep, the polish, a scrubber and an applicator that will easily do a mid-30 foot boat with some left over.
