...be aware that I spent a lot of time and effort to reinforce the inside of the transom with G-10 epoxy board....exensively. Also fiberglass mesh and epoxy all the way around its perimeter.

This included the back stay. Lots of people told me I didn't need to on this 'ol boat, the transom is thick....I did it anyway.
