Jack Tar is on a distinguished road
The trunk is made of 3/4" plywood glassed on both sides. The part I ripped is below the water line so leakage into the boat is not an issue. This is an open cat boat from the early sixties. It is a trailered boat so the plywood will dry out between uses. I am more concerned about long term damage. I sand blasted the center board and painted it and I'm ready to put it back in. I REALLY want to get out on the water so I may just forget about the torn glass and go sailing.
