The Hyde Stream Stay has sealed bearings in the swivel and depending on size, two or three stacked bearings in each end of the foil. They should all be packed with a heavy grease.
The system has to be dropped and completely disassembled in order to service the bearings. This should be done every season or two at the minimum.
