The foregoing is a very wise suggestion. You have found a Diamond in the Rough and it would be a shame to loose or damage it because of a trailer failure. This past week we observed the wreckage of a boat/trailer on the shoulder of I-75 in southwest Florida. Evidently the bearings on one wheel failed causing an axel to break and the wreck.
