Do I want in mast furling???
I am still rel inexperienced and learning. Have done bareboat charters and am now looking to buy 32-35 ft boat. Will sail coastal NC.
In mast furling looks like it has some definite advantages. Easy to decrease sail compared to reefing, sail protection, and no fiddling with sail cover.
Am I missing some big disadvantage. I realize that sail is compromised somewhat with no battens, but is this a big deal?
Would like some thoughts from those that have owned or worked both.
