Here's what I have: A raw water cooled A4 completely disassembled. A fresh water cooled A4 with the head taken off. It had been submerged so that while it looks OK the pistons are stuck in the cylinders. I've been soaking them with penetrating oil but what Moyers says needs to be done is to be done is to take off the lower block and so they're free of the crankcase and knock them out with a wood block. I also have a the ancillary equipment, e.g. rebuilt starter. I've got a repolacement so the deal is free if you take everything. I live in Kingston accross from Edmonds.
