Taking a quick detour on the car analogy: The first is my everyday car and is also the family off-road car. On the photo we are on the mountains on a true Roman road (look at the stones on the ground) after passing a small Roman Bridge. The second is my touring car that I use only for that purpose. It is no Ferrari, but on a twisting road it is a blast and those are my kind of roads
Regarding boats the philosophy is the same: I want a go anywhere boat and I want to go fast, just for the pleasure of driving. Comfort is not the main issue. Pleasure is and pleasure for me is having fun at the wheel. The difference is that for going anywhere and for going fast on land, I need two cars. On the water I can do both things on the same boat, for instance, with a Pogo 12.50.
