During our Westbrook, CT to Croton, NY trip after the storm the engine died. It just shut off after the cabin filled with smoke.
I found that the exhaust hose after the raw water input Y had fallen off.
I reattached it and the engine seemed to work fine.
I was thinking at first that the engine needed the back pressure but Caleb suggested that because exhaust was filling the engine room it did not get enough fresh air for combustion.
This seems more likely to me but is that all their is to it?
Any damage that could result from this incident?
