Anyway, I've never been one for backchannel anything. Too manipulative and bs-ridden...and I say that from being at the sharp end of that stick a few times. That kind of stuff is about trying to "control the community" and work "fan club politics" and that's the exact kind of thing that I think is whacked (as you can clearly see since the day I joined this forum). I could give a damn about that kind of crap.
I can't count how many times people have left here with a rhetorical flourish...some deserved some not. But who cares? Did he do something to you directly? Are you asking him to apologize to
you - or to someone else? And if it's someone else...why don't you let them work it out?
I'm just saying that, unless he hammered you directly, you obviously have some notion of etiquette in your head that was breached by the Bubble - and you feel he needs to do some grovelling to repair it. But from my perspective - he was justified in getting pissed. So it ain't cut-and-dried.
You said it yourself...he's back, it's all good. So man up and give it a rest. I would hate to lose you as a member of my fan club.
