I agree. The number of people that can't reason independently and/or want to reduce analysis and truth to a function of polls and appeals to corrupt authorities is ominous.

Rags and RadioA$$, you guys have a great patent waiting for you if you can patent burning something that will not actually make the surroundings hotter. Even burning wax (candles) gives off heat and CO2.

You need to look at the amount of heat needed to sustain life, natural variability of heat, what we're contributing to that number, how the net heat radiates off the planet under various conditions, net impact of our "heat", and the consequences. Do that correctly, show detrimental consequences of specific actions to specific people, and we can shut down civilization on the spot.
Same goes for CO2.
That the most celebrated "authorities" behind the "science" you're referring to haven't been able to make a conclusive case is telling at this point; so is their documented dishonesty, their list of allies, and their eagerness to get involved in regulation.
Oh, and let's not leave out the fact that, by far, MOST CLIMATOLOGISTS DON'T THINK MANMADE GW IS ESTABLISHED.

Douche bags with heads in the sand.

Well, I for one find the sand pleasantly hot.
And it's not just us. Polls are showing that people don't care about any of this anymore, as they've realized what's going on.
Instead of defending this nonsense, perhaps we should consider condemning and punishing this conduct, make the necessary adjustments, and let the field do its thing. Otherwise, we run the risk of bumping into an actual environmental problem and people dismissing it by reference to the hysteria and lies they've witnessed in the current mess.
