No it doesn't. "Died" implies natural causes while "killed" implies outside forces, but there is no particular connotation of foul play over natural accident in common usage. "Murder" is a very specific legal term that defines killing someone with "malice aforethought" and is distinguished even from other forms of unlawful homicide like manslaughter.
