Propellor woes

We bought a 1987 Catalina 36 03/01/10 and have just lost a blade from the 3 blade autoprop on the boat.

We've motored a bit since the purchase, just in and out of the marina. Last Friday returning to the marina we found the boat vibratedly hugely when we gave it any thrust beyond a minimal amount, in either reverse or forward. We got back to the marina going very slowly thinking we might have a fouled prop. However, when the divers checked they reported a missing blade.

We are considering getting a fixed 3 blade prop partly due to cost but also wanting less parts to worry about or maintain. We are thinking about a Campbell Sailor and would like to get some feedback about that option. Two questions: If we buy that from the manufacturers, are divers able to install it appropriately? Are there any recommended propellor installing shops in San Diego?
