Due to my MacGregor's 600 pound cast iron swing keel, I automatically assumed that since my new NA23 had a
winch for a "swing keel", that it was a 500-600 pound iron or lead keel. In fact, I thought I read the keel was lead. I'm confused.
If the swing keel is balsa and fiberglass, is it subject to getting waterlogged? Even so, at 100 pounds, it must be pretty easy to remove and fix?
Dennis, have you posted the "fix" you talked about, someplace?
