I believe that the pulley is pictured on this site. Go back a few threads. My keel cable enters horizontally at the back of the keel slot upper box (near the center of the keel slot), then the inner cable proceeds down at over a 100 deg angle to attach to the back of the keel. That's why it chaffed so badly. As for the swing keel itself, mine was made of fiberglass & solid foam. At the bottom of the keel there is over 50# of lead shot epoxied into the inside...ask me how I know! I rebuilt the keel of mine with a stainless steel leading & bottom edge so it won't get damaged if it ever hits something. I also bought some lead shot mixed it with epoxy & used it as filler inside the keel. It was a mess when I got the boat. (like everything else)
