Winter Storage - Cold causing freezing engine and waterlines!

Well it has been blowing 30 MPH for the last couple of days and no sign of letting up. With the temps in the mid 20's at night, I am glad that I got anti-freeze in the engine and fresh water supply lines to other night!

I thought that I was going to get one last sail in for the season. I am sure glad that Brian at Old Bay Marina talked me into hauling out last week before the arctic weather arrived.

Was down to the boat today and there were sailors trying in thaw out their water lines and get their engines started to winterize them!

The marina is STILL hauling out boats for the winter - and when they pressure wash the bottom - the pressurer washer is making snow like the snow machines at a ski resort!
