Yes, its like Fat Guy walking up 12 stairs hot here today....
Speaking of cooling down, this time last year I was helicopter skiing in Lake Wanaka, NZ...It's winter there. Its on the southern island and you ski The Buchanan Range which jumps from sea level to 10,000 feet. Your average run is 4000 vertical feet. To give you some perspective, Vail, CO which is considered a large mountain has about 1500 vertical feet per run. If you ever sail to NZ, it is worth checking out the southern islands.
