Got a wavefront tiller clutch for Christmas, bought a mainsail feeder off ebay, and plan to make a furler out of PVC (or conduit?) so I can get sail up and down (or in and out) quicker.
My biggest problem when singlehanding is feeding that stupid sail into the groove. I keep the main lashed down pretty tight so I don't get knocked off the hatch by a swinging boom but that makes it really hard to keep it pointed into the wind. Hope this helps and waiting for it to warm up!
Keep the expenses low and the good times high.
