We have one that is an inexpensive model we bought at Target. It draws around 700 watts, but more to start up. Works great, but the ice is not that cold. Just cold enough to be frozen, but it thaws quickly. It does an okay job for drinks, but if it is hot outside it doesn't do all that well for the ice box.
