Crew Wanted for East coast US to Australia
Hello Rob.
I really enjoyed reading about your extended plans for a great voyage. I grew up around the water, father a career naval officer. I have a profound love for the ocean; have lived in Florida, New Jersey, Rhode Island, North Carolina, Taiwan. I grew up with boats of all kinds both power and sail, the largest sailboat an O''Day 32 foot Ketch. I worked offshore two and a half years in the Gulf on supply boats as a member of the Merchant Marine. I also have my own cruising goals and need to learn more about ocean voyaging. I now live in Indiana but am considering moving back to Florida Jan. or Feb. of 2002. I am unable to commit to the entire trip but have an interest in the New Bern, North Carolina to Florida leg or perhaps others when my moving plans firm up a bit more. I am very interested in Tahiti and Australia as well. I work as a photographer/editor at an ABC television station so would be able to document the journey as well as fulfill my duties as crew.
