If you've gotten a Ship's Station License, from the FCC, you will be assigned a callsign. You will need a Ship's Station License if you plan on communicating with foreign stations via radio—either marine or terrestrial.

taking is a Compac 23 so we can trailer down to
FL and save some time. Should we have a call sign? Just looked up MMSI and will register
