Chateau, in addition to Grey Goose, here's another voyage being planned for the NW Passage in 2011: Northwest Passage on a Shoestring or directly: Northwest passage on a shoestring

Dog, Grey Goose is a motor vessel -- they'll be burning through a lot of fuel. Maybe $3/gallon here, but up there probably double that or more. Add in provisions, safety equipment, sat phone time, etc, etc..., and it's not hard to imagine the costs rising to $10,000 per person.
